Anxiety Support Group & Wellness Workshop
In addition to counselling, I offer an Anxiety Support Group and Wellness Workshop. These groups provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space for individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, worry, or overwhelm. They run weekly over a 6-week period (1.5 hours per session) online and in-person.
Participants have the opportunity to connect with others who share similar experiences, gain practical coping skills, and build confidence in managing anxiety in everyday life.
Workshop topics may include:
- Understanding anxiety and its impact on thoughts, emotions, and behaviour
- Understanding the fight/flight response
- Breathing exercises and relaxation techniques
- Understanding the anxiety cycle
- Mindfulness and grounding strategies
- Managing overthinking and anxious thoughts
- Healthy lifestyle habits that support mental wellbeing
- Stress management and self-care practices
- Group discussions, peer support, and shared learning
